Peony #4 -This particular Peony has the largest 22kt gold center in this collection. The overall measurements of the whole flower are 5.5” in diameter and 1.75” at its tallest point. All of her petals are raised upright towards the sun.

Care: As with any precious metal surface, handwashing is recommended so harsh dishwashing soaps don't fade the sheen of the gold over time.

SHIPPING: The shipping cost for each flower is $7.15. This includes full insurance on each piece. Knock-on wood, I’ve shipped these all over the US with no breakage so far! -but if something happens you are covered.

My Process: Each piece is hand-sculpted from porcelain clay and then covered for 3 to 4 weeks so it will dry very slowly to avoid any finicky porcelain cracks or splits. Next, the bisque firing takes place for 13 hours reaching 1900 degrees. Then, three coats of high gloss glaze is hand-painted onto every surface and re-firing occurs for 8 hours reaching 2171 degrees. Lastly, 22kt gold luster is meticulously applied and a third and final low-firing occurs.
