Did you just get married or know someone who did? A Bride's Wedding Bouquet is one of those special pieces of her treasured day that unfortunately, doesn’t last. Preserve the memory of these beautiful flowers with a custom, artistic representation that will be cherished forever!
I only accept a limited number of Wedding Bouquet Commissions per year to maintain the highest level of quality for each painting. These spots fill very quickly, especially in Spring and Fall, causing my Calendar to be full for several months at a time. Ordering requires that 50% of the amount of the painting is due upfront as a deposit to officially be added to my Commission Calendar. The remaining 50% balance is due once the painting is complete. Paintings take 8 to 10 weeks depending on size, style, and my current workload.
Browse my images to choose the style of Painting you prefer (Choose from either a Classic or a Sculptural style Painting- See descriptions of each below).
Contact me with style you have chosen. I will email you a Pricing List with sizes.
Once you choose a size and style, I will send you a custom link to pay a non-refundable 50% deposit to be applied to the purchase price. Once your payment has gone through, your painting will officially be added to my Commission Calendar. Your payment secures your spot in line.
Send me several photos of the bouquet (the more the better). We can discuss which angle will come out the best for your painting and what background color you choose (Anything in the background of your photos will be omitted and I will use a solid color of your choice.)
As you can see in the example photos below, I paint in two different styles for you to choose from:
This beautiful technique gives a smooth, rich brush stroke appearance. The colors are striking and every detail pops! There is no plaster added to this style, so these have a much faster turnaround time due to quick drying.
This is a distinctive style that sets my paintings apart from all others! This style takes much longer to create than the Classic version. Every flower is hand-sculpted with wet plaster and paint using palette knives and a very carefully layered technique. Some flowers are so thick they take as long as 3 weeks to dry before layering the other flowers around them. This technique gives each flower a 3D buttery effect that is irresistible to touch! Gift certificates available for both styles.
-Medium/Surface: I paint on Cradled Birch Wood only. Why this type of medium? It lasts forever! Canvas can tear or begin to sag in the middle over time. My style of painting uses plaster and paint that builds texture and would stretch canvas under the weight, so wood is the best option. (TIP: Please no matter who you choose to do your Bouquet re-creation make sure that they create on wood for longevity purposes!)
-Sides: The edges are 1.5" thick and are painted in the same background color you choose. There is no need for framing these, unless desired.
-Hanging: The back has professional grade hardware with heavy-duty picture hanging wire that is coated and will not mark your walls.
-Finish: Each painting is finished with clear high-gloss varnish to protect against damage, dust, and UV rays.
-Shipping: Shipping is NOT included in the price of the painting. The painting will be weighed and the shipping cost added to the final paypal invoice. Or, You may pick up your painting at Pepper Place Market on one of my scheduled dates, if you are local (I am there once a month).
